Today, I am appreciating Brene Brown and her work. Brene is a writer and researcher on the topic of shame. She has an absolutely wonderful blog, Ordinary Courage, and a book, I Thought It Was Just Me (but it isn’t), which I am currently about halfway through reading.
The reason why I am specifically featuring Brene today is that she is really taking things up a notch on her website these days. She is starting a read-along community for her book, which will begin on April 1, 2009. I plan on being there, and I encourage you to check it out and think about participating.
Brene has also started a WholeHearted living movement, which I am also very excited about!
Brene inspires me with her writing on a daily basis. She is honest and insightful, and she makes me feel like I am not alone in the world with my feelings. I love the idea of connection and community that she is trying to establish.
I support you Brene, and I hope that your new projects are super successful!!!

thank you so much for the support! can't wait to connect during the read-along.
