Drinking a mimosa with breakfast on my birthday!
My big day has come and gone!!!! I have been on a break from posting recently because I was in Belize celebrating my 40th birthday!!
It is hard to know exactly what to say about Belize. The trip was incredibly amazing, and was, by far, the best vacation I have had in my life!!! We stayed at the Capricorn Resort on Ambergris Caye, and if you ever find yourself on Ambergris Caye, you should definitely check out the Capricorn – even if you don’t stay there, they have a fantastic restaurant on the property!
The trip was so relaxing – the weather was beautiful, the people were the friendliest I have ever met, and we consumed many fruity drinks! We visited Mayan ruins, saw crocodiles and tiny bats, and even visited another island, Caye Caulker, for an afternoon.
It was wonderful just to be able to SLOW DOWN for once and not have any worries, nowhere to be, nothing that had to get done.
I am extremely grateful for this experience, and I am LOVING being 40 so far!!!
